Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon
Wow, what a drive. I camped in the canyon and listened to streams, birds, deer, and the crackle of my campfire at night. I had driven 4500+ miles by the time I arrived and it was worth it all. A stillness and a mystic nothingness. Literally nothing. Sometimes beyond wind traveling through the channels of stone and cliff faces, it was moonlit with stars, and quiet in a way that is quite wonderful if you are ready to see yourself reflected. Sometimes we are not ready, yet I was in those moments and no photo, film, recording can mirror what I became there.
The song above is unreleased. I am still deciding the name, as there are a lot of ‘walking through the fire’ tracks in the world, so I may name it something totally different (like Dawn Chorus 2000 off of my 2023 SI•DE•RE•AL LP)
- kicken around the idea of creating remix exclusive versions called Flipsides of my tracks and making them available here. An alternate reality of music if you will.
