Folds of Time

Lyrics by Fire Mist

Somewhere in the folds of time
There lived a poet out of rhyme
She sought the Queen to ask a theme
Who lived upon the deepest well
And gave a word to all she saw
When naught was done and so it came
That on the day she asked the way

The silence was
A word upon the wind

Silver lake and golden wing
The poet sing the world we are
Beyond the kiss the land upon the lips
And held the sun beyond the dawn
Birds and shallow fog
The mist upon the rivers long
A fire wings below the stars

We drink to life, to love,
To song, to night

Somewhere in the folds of time
There lived a poet out of rhyme
She sought the Queen to ask a theme
Who lived upon the deepest well
And gave a word to all she saw
When all was done and so it came
That on the day she asked the way

The silence was
A word upon the wind
